Voice Dispatch

Fleet operators need a wide area voice system enabling them to connect instantly with all field personnel in-transit, or a select group, whether they are just down the street or more than 100 miles away.  Seamless workgroup communications can have a profound impact on exceptions handling, and fuel costs.  The problem for operators in South Florida is that their systems oftentimes do not have the signal, the functionality, or the distance, to be truly effective.

To address this need, Highland Wireless acquired the spectrum and built the infrastructure required to offer the signal, the functionality, and the distance, ...for a fixed monthly cost.  Our transmitters boast the highest possible elevation in Miami.  Our voice services can be configured as "one-to-one", "one-to-many", or both.  Our radios "key up" reliably in Key Largo and Fort Pierce, and all locations in-between.

The Highland product line includes a large selection of mobile, portable and base station products from multiple manufacturers.  This includes compact, inexpensive mobile radio units with built-in GPS receivers and modems.  We can supply the right radio products for any application or budget backed by manufacturer warranties and extended warranties offered by Highland.

GPS Automated Vehicle Location

The starting point for a GPS-based fleet management system is the tracking software.  When combined with Highland's dispatch services, this is where operators begin to see significant, recurring improvements to utilization and productivity.  Automated vehicle location allows dispatchers to see the entire field and coordinate / control movements without error. Data Warehousing and Mining

The CGPS account team has seasoned systems engineers highly conversant and experienced with database design and software integration. Mobile IP

Through our partnerships with wireless infrastructure manufacturers, CGPS offers a new "state-of-the-art" wireless data system with near error-free, two-way transmission of high-speed digital data. Using standard Internet protocols and digital radio technology this solution transmits private data communications over large geographical areas. A popular application is one where data moves from the server to a vehicle-mounted modem, and then by WiFi, to a PDA device located within 100-yards of the vehicle. The system has a very high message success rate, even while transferring large blocks of data.
